This post is intended to begin the project of articulating a future for the Anglican Way of being Christian in the Philippines. Here, we will try to avoid the polemic that distinguishes discussions on Anglicanism in the present day, and this serves as a companion of sorts to Mark Harris's own project, Anglican Communion Redux.
Eventually, I and some other invited writers will be posting thoughts and reflections by myself and by others on the question of Anglicanism's future. I am posting as Ren Aguila here, but some of the other authors may choose to write under pseudonyms to ensure it does not become, um, a source of scandal.
I look forward to continuing the discussion began at Lambeth and the other discussion that has been going on for a while now.
